Our Law Preparation course is for all UK and International year 10,11,12 and 13 students and are running for all dates as per on this URL. Our Law Summer Courses are taught bu Qualified University Teachers and Lawyers who are patient and will pass their knowledge to the students. The course is aimed for all students who are thinking of taking law at University level in the UK and Abroad and to give them the confidence and knowledge to apply and best Law Colleges and Law Universities around the world.

We have the best lawyer tutors and this course has an optional built in Law Internship and Shadowing Program that enables all students to do an optional 1 week or 2 week Law Internship and Shadowing Program where they will sit and shadow a real working lawyer Mandau to Friday from 9:30 to 5:30. This course is a great leg up, in particular for those looking for coveted places at prestigious law schools such as Harvard University, Yale University, UOL , Kings College London, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University of Hong Kong (HKU), or similar. This law preparation summer course will provide you with a thorough grounding in interview techniques, personal statement preparation, LNAT/LSAT preparation and more.
You will also attend sessions and learn advanced law techniques in the art of mock trial competition. Planned sessions topics will include:

- presenting opening statements and closing arguments
- introducing exhibits
- controlling and impeaching a witness
- objections and the rules of evidence

- effective and credible witness portrayal
The overall teaching and learning strategy for this law preparation course is student centred. Our tutors employ a variety of teaching and learning methods such as exciting and innovative workshops, engaging lessons, court visits, university taster sessions, a mock trial, and case law sessions.
Academic content

You will be taught the legal skills and how to use law to help people and Society.
Choosing a Law School and the Process of Gaining Acceptance
The personal interview by admissions tutors at the particular University is a key entry criteria in law school entry. Our workshops are taught by law tutors and guest speakers whom themselves have been through the process.The taught part of the workshop covers background information and interview theory, including the types of questions asked and how best to tackle them.

Interview questions are gauged to find out your knowledge and preparation for the interview is a key. At our Law School Preparation summer course you will be given mock interviews followed by detailed feedback on performance, with due attention paid to body language. As the mock interviews are carried out in small groups of four to five, you are able to experience a full range of question types, build up your confidence, and learn from the strengths and weaknesses of your peers.
You will work together in small groups to learn essential knowledge, techniques and build confidence. You will:
- dramatically improve your interview skills to help you secure a place at Law School;
- become more aware of the range of issues that may arise at the real interview;
- we will help you maximise your knowledge and encourage independent thinking;
- appreciate how important it is to consider both the arguments for and against an issue;
- refine your communication skills, body language and make a great first impression;
- avoid common mistakes;
- discuss possible questions and answers on your personal statement;
- impress the interview panel with your enhanced knowledge, technique and confidence;
- sell yourself effectively and confidently:
- get help with formulating answers to difficult questions;
- polish your individual technique;
- and, gain insight into different types of work experience.
LNAT (National Admissions Test for Law)
The LNAT is used by universities to help them select the best students for their law courses and make a fairer choice from the many highly qualified applicants to join the undergraduate law programme. It is a two part test of 2 hours and 15 minutes: 42 multiple choice questions on a passages of text, and an essay. You will be given practice papers and learn strategies and a way to tailor your thinking to come with the correct answer. You will with the help of the law teachers adopt “critical” thinking mind and gain confidence. For the essay you will learn the structure the essay should take and how to present, defend and reason arguments in essay form. By looking at sample essays and dissecting them you will gain confidence in answers of the LNAT essay part to the best of your abilities.

How to Write a Personal Statement
Understand the anatomy and what to include in your personal statement to make it “stand out”. A personal statement as its name implies should be individual and by working first in groups and then one to one with our law tutors who have been through this and can pass to you their first-hand knowledge you will be asked to produce your own personal statement. Questions such as “Why do you want to study Law at this University” and many more will be discussed in tutorials where you will gain the confidence and get “ideas” from your tutors and peers and be surrounded and supported by like-minded students.

There is so much going on in London and Cambridge - we hope you have time to see it all while you're here. To help you do that, after classes you’ll have a range of activities to take part in. This summer we'll be offering visits to the London Eye, Madame Tussaud's or the famous Houses of Parliament; film nights; punting down the river in Cambridge; visiting a West End Theatre; themed parties; and, sports including tennis, swimming, dancing and more.
Free Time
We understand that students will want some free time to relax, attend to personal administration and contact their families. While we do provide you with some free time, we believe the most valuable experience to the student is a fully immersive, packed programme of activities and so students should expect to be engaged in team activities for the majority of time.

You will be accommodated in one of the college campuses where you will be allocated lodging, usually sharing a twin room with another student of the same gender. Typically students will be accommodated on single-sex corridors or floors, with staff members and mentors always available on site. Living all together is a great way to make friends and sample the university lifestyle, as the welcoming environment allows you to develop a sense of community.
Breakfast and lunch is served and eaten in the College dining hall, which provides a bright and comfortable space for communal meals. Students will enjoy a varied and healthy diet: all meals are freshly prepared and special diets can be catered for with advance notice. A three-course dinner is provided daily either in the College dining hall, or in various restaurants as part of the social programme.
Safety and Security on Campus
Students will be overseen by our course leaders and residential staff to classes and activities, who ensure that students are looked after pastorally and socially during their programme and are available to assist students at any time of the day or night. All students will be issued with emergency contact details for staff members and will be given a full safety briefing on arrival.
Student welfare
LITE Regal Summer School offers a safe and secure environment that is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by our friendly and professional team. We have a dedicated team of Managers, Teachers and College Mentors. The welfare of our students is our main priority at all times and our staff specialise in the pastoral care of older teenagers.
Management Team
Our Management team is headed by the College Principal, who takes responsibility for the daily running of the college, and supervises the Academic Programme. The Social & Welfare Manager takes charge of the Social Programme and is supported by a team of College Mentors, who ensure everyone is happy, safe and having fun.
Working together, our Managers ensure that every aspect of the college runs smoothly, safely and offers every student the chance to participate fully.
College Mentors
Our Mentors are key members of staff who support and assist our students within the college accommodation and throughout the Social Programme. Our team of College Mentors work with our Social & Welfare Manager in organising the college’s social events and excursions, as well as accompanying students into campuses and during day trips. They are approachable and caring, ensuring that all students get involved in the life of the college.
Eligibility
Students on the Law School Preparation course:
- must be aged 15-18 before 1st September 2025 (if you are unsure of the age criteria entry please contact our registration team)
- must show enthusiasm for Law
- must be fluent or near-fluent English language speakers – if you are unsure whether your English level is suitable for this programme, please contact our registration team
- must show motivation for attending the programme and participate in terms of attendance at lessons, meals and events
All successful applicants will also be required to provide a signed letter of consent from their parent or guardian. If offered a place, students and parents / guardians will also be required to sign a Code of Conduct for the summer school.
